Stakeholders Participating in the Environmental Assessment

Public Stakeholders

Includes adjacent property owners, area residents and businesses, beneficiaries of Terrapure funding and other non-government organizations.

Community Liaison Committee (CLC) 

The CLC is composed of community representatives, elected officials, MOECC district staff and Terrapure representatives.

City of Hamilton 

Department staff and elected officials from the City are key stakeholders.

Indigenous Communities 

Includes the Six Nations of the Grand River, the Mississaugas of the New Credit, the Haudenosaunee Confederacy and the Métis.

Review Agencies 

The Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change (MOECC) and other Municipal, Provincial and Federal agencies.
